My boat is made out of flax wood and flax. My Dad and I went to the beach to get the materials for us to make it.
I floated my boat in the bath and it did not sink.

Flax wood is so good to make boats from Luca. I use to carve them into little canoes when I was your age.(a long time ago) Do you know the name of some other wood that is light like the flax wood? I will give you a clue it starts with B.

You mentioned how this boat is made from flax wood and flax. Did you find the wood pieces exactly like they are, or did you have to cut them to size for your boat? You also mentioned how when you put your boat in the bath it didn’t sink. This was a real surprise to me, as I assumed it would have sunk due to the lack of floor! Did you have a hypothesis about what you thought would happen before you put your boat in the bath? Did the boat start to sink after a period of time, or did it remain floating? Could the boat hold any weight whilst managing to stay above water? It would be awesome if you could reply to this comment and let me know! How long did this boat take you to construct? Did you do this for any particular reason, or did you just decide to build a boat? Did you have a set plan in mind on how you were going to build your boat, or did you just make it up along the way?
